validation API secured the application. A custom sample
eligibility engine, based on license status, physician
specialty, and assigned decile, ensured the manufacturer
complete control over the distribution of its products.

A leading pharmaceutical company wanted a physician
portal to promote new drugs and provide physicians with
alternative channels of communication. Having successfully
deployed Veeva, they understood the advantages of the Force.com
platform. Now they wanted to leverage their investment by
integrating portal activities with their CRM.
Mavens Approach
Mavens focused on optimizing the technology this company
already had. We found ways to expand the functionality of the
existing Veeva CRM by using tools already licensed by the
customer. We also built a web services integration between the
portal, Google analytics, and Salesforce.com to capture,
process, and produce marketing metrics.
